Archon's regional offices provide national coverage for asset management. This presence improves market knowledge and contacts, enabling us to better manage broadly dispersed portfolio assets.
The development group was established in 1994 to oversee the value enhancement/redevelopment of under-utilized assets located in attractive markets. This department provides both development and construction services through a specialized team with extensive experience in all real estate product types.
Working closely with the real estate group, the marketing department identifies the optimal sales strategy for each asset and oversee all facets of the marketing process. Contract Administration ensures standardization across property management contracts and other agreements, oversees the real estate tax assessment appeals process on all assets, and maintains an exclusive database on diverse asset management topics.
With approximately $3.5 billion in loans under management, the loan management group has extensive experience in the investment recovery process. Our solid understanding of underlying real estate collateral value means we can conduct our own prompt, revealing valuations.
Archon's accounting group provides financial and tax reporting to portfolio owners and lenders, services senior debt, and monitors compliance with debt instrument terms.
This group monitors environmental and structural compliance on assets under management, analyzes risks on potential new investments, and facilitates review by lenders and rating agencies. Archon has aligned with five national contractors, significantly reducing the costs of environmental and engineering reviews.
Archon's offices are connected via a wide area network with access to state-of-the-art computer systems, providing real time communication and information flow.
It is the policy of Archon Group L.P.’s (“Archon”) Legal Department to ensure that all legal services are performed with the highest integrity and in accordance with the finest ethical standards of the legal profession.
The loan servicing department is a full-service commercial servicer utilizing the McCracken Strategy system.
Using a uniquely owner-focused management style, the ARM team have zeroed in on national recognition, building a group of committed employees, enhancing systems and streamlining of internal processes.
Archon's risk management group manages the purchase and administration of all portfolio insurance programs, compiles reporting to brokers and underwriters for billing purposes, monitors all borrowers insurance and forced place coverage, coordinates reporting and monitoring of all claims, and maintains a loss history log on all claims activity.
While the real estate management group deals with the day-to-day performance of individual assets, the portfolio management team focuses on maximizing the potential of the overall portfolios.
